Down…

Hiked along the ridge and down into Port Clinton. It was more of the same: mud, rocks and heat. The last mile was a 1,000 ft descent to the Schuylkill River. Wow!!

It’s also prime deer hunting country here. In Hamburg, where I’m spending the night, is the world’s biggest Cabela’s. They even have a gun range.

  1. Take care Chris. It may be rough now but I’m sure it will get easier soon.
What is the daily temperature on the trail?

  2. Be safe on those rocks, you don’t need a twisted ankle or worse! Now, you know all about where the Ice Age came thru! I grew up in northwestern PA ,in the Allegheny Mts.
