And yes, after a total of 700+ miles completed, in 2019 it continues to get smaller…

Needless to say, my Bounce Box in 2016 is much smaller…

This page is as much for me as anyone who is interested.  It contains an inventory of the bounce box that I will be sending along the trail with all of the extras and restocking supplies that I don’t want to carry with me.  It’s all packed and ready to be mailed to Front Royal, VA – my first destination.  Most everything is spare, needed for cold weather, or extra.

And that’s the lot of it.  I can’t wait to see how much it costs to mail, but not having to carry this stuff is priceless!

  1. Now that I’ve finished my first summer hiking, I look back and would take most out of the bounce box. About the only thing that I would include is the medication supply for the summer. Also, extras of things that are difficult to find in small quantities might be worthwhile, such as a roll of TP. To be honest, it’s too easy to find everything at a local grocery or drug store when you get into town.
