I’m at Prospect Rock looking out over Manchester Center. I left Green Mountain house this morning and have hiked about 5 miles along the ridge going south.  I have now hiked 100 miles on this section and by the end of the day I will have hiked 400 miles this summer.  Yowzer!

I continue to run into familiar faces on the trail.  “Prana” just walked up to the rock.  I met her at a shelter in Shenandoah National Park on July 4th.  She’s making great time NOBO.  She tells me there are more friends ahead!

  
I moving on to Stratton Pond today.  It’s supposed to be beautiful there.  By the way, the front moved through early this morning and the weather is getting really nice again. 😎

I’ll update statistics later, but for now it’s 100 miles this section and 400 total on the A.T.
