After encouragement from other hikers and looking for a project after retiring, I have endeavored into writing a novel about section hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Click the image below to open a window with a free copy of the pdf, which includes 135 pages covering section hiking 1,220 miles of the AT over 8 years. The pdf is proofread but not yet edited, so be tolerant. I still have another 1,000 miles to hike and write about. Who knows what’s to come? But, I’m sure I’ll find many more trail angels.
